Collaborative Project

We have decided to move forward with an Albany High Fundraiser focused on homelessness awareness.

Some initial thoughts and ideas:

• When would be the best time to hold this? A week-night or a week-end?
• How do we make it fun for students? How will we get their buy-in?
• How does this become a fundraiser?

Possibilities (just throwing things out there, and see what sticks. Please please add to this list):

• A battle of the bands
• A dance
  
• A Talent Show
• A movie screening
• Guest speaker? Celie from Harrison House?
• A shoe drive
• A coin drive
• A silent auction
• A raffle
• Wishing well fountain
• Overnight, sleep at school
• Homelessness simulation activity

I will invite Ms. Benau to our meeting so she can discuss the logistics of some of these events taking place at school.
